tommie gorman Posted February 28, 2006 CID Share Posted February 28, 2006 You are running at 93% of your advertised speed, but you could run a little faster. Try TCP Optimizer. It works well for me. Or cablenut if you prefer. I run a 1030 on an 800 advertised speed. :::.. CA3LE Posted March 1, 2006 CID Share Posted March 1, 2006 looks to me like you are running right at the speed you should be getting. -- only about 20kbps lower than your package.. looks good to me.

tommie gorman Posted March 1, 2006 CID Share Posted March 1, 2006 Did you follow the tabs at the top of the optimizer. The: other settings:MaxMTU:Latency (Ping). On the first page did you click custom settings,Window scalling Max MTU,TCP Recieve window, network adapter for NIC. And do the latency(PING) three times. Then and only then should you reboot. Also file and backup current settings. Then reboot. Read this:TCP Optimizer Help Don't know why my pc is not posting it as a link but it could be typed into address bar. That should a lot. [edit] I set 'Read this:' as a hyperlink ~ not sure why it didn't post that way for you, either?
