richcornucopia Posted April 21, 2006 CID Share Posted April 21, 2006 How is it connected, svideo? You may want to look into vga-hdmi that will give you just about the best picture possible.
php Posted April 22, 2006 CID Share Posted April 22, 2006 If you're connecting via S-Video you need to set the resolution to 640x480 or close to that, or you won't be able to read anything. Also consider increasing the Windows font size.
netmasta Posted April 26, 2006 CID Share Posted April 26, 2006 Ok, so are you trying to watch TV on your monitor or use your TV as a monitor?
richcornucopia Posted April 26, 2006 CID Share Posted April 26, 2006 Sounds to me like he is using his tv as his computer monitor.
netmasta Posted April 26, 2006 CID Share Posted April 26, 2006 That's what I'm guessing. If that is what it is, he won't get good text on a TV. TV's have less than 800x600 resolution. Not too good for static computer text.

If you have an ATI card..in the catalyst it has an option for monitor or tv..
Tomer Posted April 27, 2006 CID Share Posted April 27, 2006 Yeah you won't get good picture, put the resolution as low as possible. Bot movies and pictures should look good. - Tomer
