amish Posted May 1, 2006 CID Share Posted May 1, 2006 I wish they had it here. Only Bright House Networks (road runner) has this area. And the bellsouth dsl. It's weird how much of a difference the 20mbps down to 30mbps is money wise.

ShadeZeRO Posted May 31, 2006 CID Share Posted May 31, 2006 I'd kill for service that great =( One of my CS Source Clan mates has it, his ping is never over 30 (from NJ to a Miami Server)...and on NJ servers his ping is like between 6-9..never 2 digits. DanInDemarest Posted July 2, 2006 CID Share Posted July 2, 2006 They upgraded my 15/2 service to 20/5 as of July 1 - same price ($39.95/month). But we're still on PPPoE here (DHCP is supposed to get here in August).

Strikeman Posted July 14, 2006 CID Share Posted July 14, 2006 Strikeman welcome to the forum. can i like just move into your house, cuz i want that. Thanks I got FIOS as soon as it was available in my area. The guy who installed it was pretty cool, he let me hang around and ask him questions when he installed it. He said supposedly there will be 50meg down sometime in the future. Its interesting because on the ONT there is a 100Meg Link light. So I guess in theory you could get 100 down if they supported it. Having a fat pipe is nice, its not like I get 20 megs down from every server. I really dont notice faster speeds all the time, its just only on servers that can handle it. What I have noticed is increased bandwidth, which means I can have more simultaneous downloads going without degradation.

Strikeman Posted July 15, 2006 CID Share Posted July 15, 2006 Wow i feel like a real loser now that my download is slower than your upload and the price per month is the same! Hey its not your fault, the TeleComms been raping the consumer. Everyone should have had faster speeds by now but all the big companies used the government money for other stuff. It sucks.
