wyantm06 Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 What's the difference between the Rokr, Slvr, and Razr? I won the pepsi contest but don't know which phone to get.
asubaseball727 Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 That's is awesome! I have the razr, and I like it... but it lacks itunes. The Rokr is nice, but it doesn't look half as good as the razr. So I'd definitely go with the slvr.

wyantm06 Posted May 26, 2006 Author CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 Well the company I am going to be going through only supports the Razr so I have to go with that one. But this is getting crazy! I can't find what the Cellone companies phone # is in Corry , Pa. I am getting mad, because I don't know if they onyl support V3c or just the V3. I call one and they say V3, I call the Pepsi company and they said V3c...
resopalrabotnick Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 well, the rokr made the list of 25 worst tech items, so that would be a no. razr is nice. slvr i havent handled. hey, at least i could cut it from 3 to 2!
wyantm06 Posted May 26, 2006 Author CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 Ok I found out I needed the Razr V3 one. I hope my Cellphone company lets me use it. Do you think they will?
resopalrabotnick Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 i think they might. however, i do believe they wouldn't give a rats ass about what i think. so your best bet will be to give them a ring and find out.
organ_shifter Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 If your provider uses Sim cards (I think they all do except for Sprint?), you should be able to just pop it in the Razr V3 and go.
RAINMAKA Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 i dont think verizon uses sim cards either
resopalrabotnick Posted May 26, 2006 CID Share Posted May 26, 2006 and if the provider doesn't use a gsm net then you need to get the appropriate version of the phone and register it with your provider.

asubaseball727 Posted May 27, 2006 CID Share Posted May 27, 2006 Well you don't HAVE to go with the razr, if you want one of the other ones, you could pay like 20$ to have it unlocked. If you want to do that look into GSM Liberty.
