dlewis23 Posted June 8, 2006 Author CID Share Posted June 8, 2006 Where do you get the product key? I don't think I got one with my download. once you login with a windows live ID it will give you one. If you do the direct download link it will not give you one. dlewis23 Posted June 8, 2006 Author CID Share Posted June 8, 2006 You mean once I install the cd. no you go here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/preview.mspx go to the bottom and select your county, then click go. you need to login with a windows live ID, if you dont have one make one once you are sined in a page will come up and show you a product key. that key can be used on 10 different PCs. I am just going to leave the connection on all night and hope for the best.

Take a look at the packaging. or Search for the brand/model/specs at the following link and see what the info is. http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters.php?DVDnameid=1471&Search=Search&list=2#comments
