tommie gorman Posted August 6, 2006 CID Share Posted August 6, 2006 Bad thing about satelite, it is effected by storms that you aren't aware of.
tm24ns58 Posted August 6, 2006 CID Share Posted August 6, 2006 If I believe that my system is being effected by a storm I go to this website http://www.thewbalchannel.com/index.html It is a local tv station webpage located in Baltimore which is very close to the NOC. You can click on Live Doppler on the left of the page.
Bird Fan Posted August 6, 2006 CID Share Posted August 6, 2006 My Web Acceleration has been dropping out at night on the weekends lately between the hours of 11-12. Fortunately, it's only on the weekends, and it doesn't normally last longer than about 30 minutes. I think it might be due to the amount of people on, but I don't know. I also still have the problem of my modem restarting all by itself. I've tried emailing HughesNet support, but it never fucking works. BTW, I'm on the 7000 not 6000. I've just decided to vent in this thread.
tommie gorman Posted August 6, 2006 CID Share Posted August 6, 2006 Bird Fan 7000 or 6000, not much difference except U/L anyway. Heck I vent in all of the Dway forums, no appologies necesary. And you were on the 6000 before anyway. So your help is needed at times. Thanks.
