I am familiar with what they do only. Also where are the best deals? I think a 2G would be the capacity for this gift. By then myself and the wife are getting tired of the songs. I would say if you are not just buying to be hip to buy a non ipod mp3 player. You can get alot of options for alot less. You pay for the coolness factor of the ipod more than anything. Plus, Apple rips you off by making it impossible to change the battery so once the built in battery dies you basically have to buy another ipod. Nike actually makes some nice ones. Yea I have had mine for a couple years I think and my battery is fine. My dog chewed up my ear phones but the ipod works fine. As far as your link, if you want a no frills kinda mp3 player that one will do just fine. It will play music as well as the rest and has good storage at a good price. Only complaint I got with the two nanos we have is a wall charger does not come with the iPod, for me this was an issue not itunes or aac. Good point, thanks for pointing that out. im very fast to point that one out because as much as i love my minidisc players i hate sonic stage hey i get 50 ++hours from one AA battery when i have my minidisc with me i never turn it off i leave it on 24/7 and i can run about 3 full days with one AA i hate my ipos shuffle because of itnes i hate itunes i love my psp because its click and drag but some ppl actually prefer to have some kind of software do it for them i dont understand those ppl Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
