tdawnaz Posted June 20, 2007 CID Share Posted June 20, 2007 hmmm...guess nobody that has an epson has read this yet...i have a lexmark...and had hp before...never had epson... if i were u i would contact the epson customer service...or maybe their help section of their website... sounds like a jam of some sort...paper jam...cartridge jam...maybe needs to be completely turned off and unplugged...disconnected from ur computer...wait a bit then power it back up...that's what i had to do all the time to my old lexmark all in one...pain in the butt...but it would loose communication with my pc...so those r the steps i'd have to take... now i have a new lexmark all in one...never had to do any of that
mudmanc4 Posted June 20, 2007 CID Share Posted June 20, 2007 Like Tdawn stated, generally when all the lights are on " flashing " means some sort of mechanical malfunction, of course not always , none the less, check your ink cartridges, making sure they are seated well, and haven't come lose. Check for ink levels, and paper jams. On the silly note, is there paper in there?, Is it inserted completely into the tray? I know silly, but I sounds rather as if you have a simple issue , disguising itself by freakin out , and flashin all the lights. Post back , let us know

resopalrabotnick Posted June 22, 2007 CID Share Posted June 22, 2007 transport lock would be a device/lever that locks the print head and/or scanner head (on a multifunction printer scanner) in place so nothing breaks when going down the road. there should be some kind of lever to release this. do you have a manual? tommie gorman Posted June 23, 2007 CID Share Posted June 23, 2007 Ok, on my printer it says do not plug in during installation untill it says to. It can mess it up. So that might be why. Try using the original CD for the install. It should tell you when to plug it in.
Nos7667 Posted June 24, 2007 CID Share Posted June 24, 2007 Try making sure nothing is open on your printer (Service Areas, etc.) Sometimes when those are open the printer is not allowed to function, Which might be causing your Transport Lock problem.
