Im not too sure...have you checked it the vents and fans are clean?

Maybe they have collected too much dust and it cant start due to overheating

Anyway Im not too sure...why dont you post what model laptop you have and maybe someone here might be able to help or maybe even had the same problem :smiley:

Yeah your battery was most likely loose. Thats a common problem I suppose.

i suggested it was the battery he took off and replaced already, he said it wasnt...so i dont knwo what else it is he means. and he hasnt been back to this thread to explain  :roll:

It was probably the battery. He probably didnt think it was though.

thats what i ifigured it was, but i wasnt going to argue since i wasnt sure myself....only other thing he could have done was take out something from the mobo after takingoff the back panels. and i dont think he did that

it wasnt the battery because i had the (LAPTOP) plugged into the wall and it still wasnt working

i took a panel off the bottom to see if i could see if any thing was wrong in there and there wasnt...... so i screwed it back on and decided to try it one more time and it has worked ever since

so im not exactly sure what happen sorry

It doesn't matter if the its plugged in or not.  If the battery was insecure, it could ground out the system.  Either way, its likely something was grounding it out, and when you took the panel off, whatever it was moved.
