Blunted 2 Posted October 18, 2007 CID Share Posted October 18, 2007 What state do you live in ? I have Fios 20/20 for $65 a month and you might be able to get it if you call up. That would make you love Fios more if your upload was as fast as your download

anox195 Posted October 18, 2007 CID Share Posted October 18, 2007 nice speeds, i think verizon is allowing too much bandwidth to residential users tho, no one needs those speeds at home
dlewis23 Posted October 18, 2007 CID Share Posted October 18, 2007 nice speeds, i think verizon is allowing too much bandwidth to residential users tho, no one needs those speeds at home No you really do need that much, epically with all the large downloads, and the new web apps that are coming around. You really need a fat pipe. And with bandwidth being so cheap now they can afford to give a 20mbps connection. But it will come back to bite them in the ass one day because verizon doesn't exactly have a lot of spar bandwidth in there network.

I hope they have enough common sense to fix any bandwidth issues on their side before offering faster packages to a wider range of people.... nesis Posted October 18, 2007 Author CID Share Posted October 18, 2007 nice speeds, i think verizon is allowing too much bandwidth to residential users tho, no one needs those speeds at home I think I do need those speeds. This is only one of 5 computers on my network at home. Its a worst case scenario however, I think it would kind of suck to have to split a 5 mbit connection 5 ways.
