mummer43 Posted September 14, 2008 CID Share Posted September 14, 2008 I will be moving this weekend, and I will need to cancel my DSL service. I signed up for a 1 year contract, which expired on 09/12. Does Verizon give you a hard time about canceling, or is it a smooth process? philp Posted September 14, 2008 CID Share Posted September 14, 2008 All ISP's want you to stay because you are paying them, but if the contract is up, you are free to do whatever you like with their service.

Thats what I said to SBC when I moved , they tried there best to figure hoe they were going to get me service, but there was no way, so the contract was void

It made 0 since, just a stupid way to try and get some money out of me. They even tried to pull the contact crap on me.
