tommie gorman Posted October 7, 2008 CID Share Posted October 7, 2008 Yes that is pretty good. If that is the 7000 I thought they tended more towards 200 U/L though.

tommie gorman Posted October 7, 2008 CID Share Posted October 7, 2008 Well 160 is great then. I used to get good D/L's, but never much past 50 U/L speeds.

PencilNeck Posted November 7, 2008 CID Share Posted November 7, 2008 I have HughesNet Basic package. Weather is clear. Dish on a pole pointing at clear sky. I always get a dismal upload speed. I've only been on Sat. for just over a week and I'm on the HN9000 modem. If anyone has suggestions on improving UL/DL speeds, I'm all ears. However, having just spent three years on dialup, I can deal with these speeds....with pleasure. Sad but true. :::..
