What kind of connection do you have that you need that test ? And what are you getting on the 2992 test ?

xs1 Posted October 26, 2008 CID Share Posted October 26, 2008 Uhm, its a 1 Gbit, but the 3 MB only reports it as 1.7 mbps I might post a video on youtube about it, but its not a work connection... Download accelerators are not your friend. Nor do i believe that Wildblue Communications of Englewood offer OC-192 connections residential. Try going to an NDT server, like these ; http://ndt.server.ufl.edu:7123/ http://miranda.ctd.anl.gov/ http://ndt.switch.ch/ http://speedtest.umflint.edu/ http://jlab4.jlab.org:7123/ http://netspeed.stanford.edu/ http://ciseweb100.cise-nsf.gov:7123/ Client to server and visa versa cannot be accelerated (i dont think) . TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v5.2.0f click START to begin Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 4.89Mb/s running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 21.33Mb/s The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet click START to re-test Should give you a reading something like that. xs1 Posted October 26, 2008 CID Share Posted October 26, 2008 Lol your trying to prove yourself using one of the weakest bandwidth testers on the market. your last page with testmy.net was a clipping... not an in motion test. again , i will reinterpret myself by saying " use a Real test. Blunted 2 Posted October 28, 2008 CID Share Posted October 28, 2008 they know fake tests and those tests you are posting are fake. I can get that same exact speed test on my lan and do that. also any legit speedtest site wont have an unregistered version of that test.
dlewis23 Posted October 28, 2008 CID Share Posted October 28, 2008 also any legit speedtest site wont have an unregistered version of that test. Also your speed registered over 1000mbps when that would never happen because you would never find a speed test server that has over a 1 gbps connection to it. A direct 1gbps to 1gbps connection will only do around 980mbps. And there is no way in hell you would ever be able to push 1000mbps + across the normal public internet. We know you do not have that kind of connection to your house. Insanely rich people don't even that kind of connection to there homes. I've only seen 1 person have a 1gbps connection to there house and he had to buy it directly from cogent and pay for a 600mbps commitment.
