CA3LE Posted April 21, 2010 CID Share Posted April 21, 2010 That's nice that they're going to double your speed for only 5 more bucks. Cable companies are for the most part good to their customers and usually deliver (at least in all my experiences) higher speeds than they advertise. And I've been running testmy.net in one form or another since 1999 and I worked for Cox Communications for 5 years. So I've seen the broadband industry with a magnifying glass... Cable companies always come out on top because of the bandwidth potential of coax. But the advent of fiber to the home may force the cable companies to rethink their strategy. Only time will tell. -D
xs1 Posted April 22, 2010 CID Share Posted April 22, 2010 Unless you live in a state where the corn grows faster than the broadband speeds.... lol Im on advertised 10/1 and i have yet to hit either
