CA3LE Posted April 26, 2011 CID Share Posted April 26, 2011 Would it be possible to allow an "export to excel" or "csv" function. I enjoy plotting the many data-related aspects of my life in statistics software and this would greatly assist! Thank you! You can already do this... Look in the bottom right of your query. (Your Username and/or Computer ID must match for the export link to appear.) Also, if you want to, you can actually refine your search down the way you want it... then export what you need. For instance, if I searched for the last 7 days, upload tests only... First click on 'your stats' Narrow down to 7 days... Clicking the up/down arrow in the results will narrow down by type. The click export at the bottom.. Once you get your CSV you can manipulate it yourself from there.

CA3LE Posted May 22, 2011 CID Share Posted May 22, 2011 Mind = Blown Thanks I know , he's like that, sneaks in features that we don't know we need yet , then when we do he's there to point them out . Wild One of my next tasks coming up will be making some videos. A few quick videos outlining how I personally use the site. I'm sure there are a ton of features that you guys haven't even realized are there yet. Yeah, sorry I haven't been letting you guys know about every little thing. As I said in a previous post, I'd rather spend my time building instead of talking about what I've built. ... 'Cept right now, I'm on a little break. -CA3LE Oh... and the export feature has been here for like 5 years. But I have made it recently work better. Dunealex Posted November 11, 2015 CID Share Posted November 11, 2015 That is an awesome feature! Now let´s take it one step further: I´d like to be able to export the average speeds tested by everyone for my type of connection (50k) in the whole region (i.e. my city). That would enable me to make statistics about the best time to get full speed in the week and for every day. I´m really interested in which day and time gives the best results. Thx in advance! Thanks for the suggestion. I could make it easier for you and just give you the ability to aggregate results across 24 hours. I may be able to whip something like that together in a couple hours. Kinda geeky hobby of mine... You'll fit in perfectly here. I'll work on that function for you. Sorry it doesn't detect your city better, uses GeoIP. Less accurate at the city level in some regions. According to MaxMind (TMN uses MaxMind databases) 17% are incorrectly resolved in Germany. Usually when it's incorrect it will resolve a city >50 miles away. Dunealex Posted November 14, 2015 CID Share Posted November 14, 2015 I threw a sloppy graph for my provider together, if you´re interested. It seconds my feel about the speed/daytime. But the night surprised me. It was worth while. I´m interested in the results for the whole week day by day now. Maybe there are more surprises Have a nice we!
