CA3LE Posted May 14, 2016 CID Share Posted May 14, 2016 Did you install any new programs recently that could be caching your webpages. You can't be that fast. Do you have another computer on the same connection or different browser you can try?

It's not that they aren't coming across on the forum...they are. Mark is posting the results URL, but what we are seeing is what you are seeing and what Mark posted at the top. Something is definitely wrong and we (I'm just a forum member, I don't work for Hughesnet) are trying to figure out why the latest results are so incredibly skewed. The speeds results the table is showing are impossible with Hughesnet. He says that he's not seeing during the testing what we are all seeing from the results. We can't figure out what's going on. Whether the tests are actually using 200MB is a little hard to determine as we are having a little bit of a hard time with communication (he's VERY new to computers, so it's a learning experience), but one thing is for sure and that is that the 500MB+ results are erroneous. The last I remember Mark suggested he was going to record a video of him doing a test so we could see what he's seeing, but I haven't seen that yet. I think the original issue was slow speeds. I've never seen anything happen like what's happening with his speed tests, so I'm at a loss. The speeds with the few tests that appeared to work seem fine. He's getting from 63% to 96% of the "up to 10MB" speeds in those tests. As for the others...obviously incorrect results.
mudmanc4 Posted June 21, 2016 CID Share Posted June 21, 2016 @Gabe1972 I understand. There appears to be caching going on somewhere between the ISP and his computer. Have him delete the individual results in his database here at testmy.net Select the test result from the checkbox on the right, then hit the red 'X' Gabe1972
Gabe1972 Posted June 22, 2016 CID Share Posted June 22, 2016 mudmanc4, I gave him the suggestion in the Hughesnet thread and explained it step by step. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the help. mudmanc4
