mudmanc4 Posted June 1, 2016 Author CID Share Posted June 1, 2016 Just now, CA3LE said: ...the dial-up bbs days never ended! I find the whole thing rather appealing , and reminds me why I was so stoked with a keyboard from the start. I keep getting deeper into it all again, such as finding one and half million ugly ways to hack emacs.
mudmanc4 Posted June 1, 2016 Author CID Share Posted June 1, 2016 Hilarious, both of us running as root, when we know damn well that is by far 'best practice'. Honestly, I can't stand having to jump through hoops constantly depending on what I'm doing at any given moment in a shell. So fkit, it is what it is. mudmanc4 Posted June 1, 2016 Author CID Share Posted June 1, 2016 Ha! Even in emacs! https://github.com/bcbcarl/emacs-wttrin Set a default cities list for completion: (setq wttrin-default-cities '("Taipei" "Tainan")) Then run M-x wttrin to get the information.
