tommie gorman Posted August 13, 2006 CID Share Posted August 13, 2006 Yeah, I am not used to seeing it in the subject line. But at least you have a fairly nice option available to you. Maybe not as good as you would like. But better than many others. I am on satelite, now that would very much upset you on something like that. tommie gorman Posted August 18, 2006 CID Share Posted August 18, 2006 Welcome to the forum mrdrearle What are your advertised speeds? I would think that is pretty good.
mrdrearle Posted August 18, 2006 CID Share Posted August 18, 2006 Hi TG, I checked the Comcast bill and all it states is Comcast high speed internet. I have ran this test before and averaged 5 to 6.5(Mbps) but this time was a real surprise. Any tips on how one can keep this 8.47 speed??? I like it!!! A whole lot. Jammy Posted August 26, 2006 CID Share Posted August 26, 2006 Well considering my location I guess this is an OK speed. I just wish the FIOS would be extended from "Old" Aubrey and Krugerville (and the FIOS are not even being used and I do not know who owns them. I just saw signs denoting the location of lines while walking having a smoke one day on the 377 in "old" Aubery).
