organ_shifter Posted June 9, 2005 CID Share Posted June 9, 2005 I hope they do that in Louisiana I believe they are only doing the 15/2 in areas that offer FIOS. Cox is fighting fire with fire in Virginia. Arizona has upgraded to 9000/1000 already. Cox is doing their thing.

KroniKIII Posted June 12, 2005 CID Share Posted June 12, 2005 15MB huh? I got one question........Im with Cox in New Orleans, I pay 39.95 a month for my 4MB connection......lmao how much is a 15MB connection gonna run ya? Bet you need to take out a loan huh? lol let me know highest speed available here is 6MB downstream because Cox's only compitition is Bellsouth DSL and they just upgraded to 3MB for 59.95 a month.....lol
tbaker397 Posted June 12, 2005 CID Share Posted June 12, 2005 I believe it will be 5 dollars more than the Verizon FiOS 15/2 service, so 54.95 I believe. Fighting fire with fire.
disturbed Posted June 12, 2005 CID Share Posted June 12, 2005 yep the 15/2 is the next step up....54.95 - that was their premium package of 5/768 that got upgraded to that

bent240LV Posted June 13, 2005 CID Share Posted June 13, 2005 we need some competition in las vegas so we can get some good deals. Cox did up our speed, it went from 4/256 and 5/512 ------> 4/512 and 5/768 big whooop. I did hear that they are goign to offer their digital phone service. Does anyone have that and is it any good and whats the pricing. thanks
tbaker397 Posted June 13, 2005 CID Share Posted June 13, 2005 they probably wont for a while since they just did, but adelphia is releasing the new tiers soon and if you have adelphia and are going to comcast like i am, then consider it an 'upgrade' of sorts. dlewis23 Posted June 29, 2005 CID Share Posted June 29, 2005 Adelphia/comcast is going to beat Cox, with there 16MB/2MB connection, and since adelphia always over caps your more likely to get 17mb/2.5mb. They are going to roll it out exactly whare Cox and Verizon Fios is then filter out from there. Well see what verison and Cox do about this.
