Everyone is so quick to trash them. You also might want to check the page at http://www.fema.gov/register.shtm which is the subject of Gary KraKow's article. It states they are modifying the page to support other browsers. You can also pick up the phone and call. Since Microsof had nothing to do with the FEMA page, why don't you just blast the government and leave it at that. FEMA obviously needs improvement. I dont think that MS is evil.. I happen to run their product on all of my machines.. I just think that it is funny that after the US government, which FEMA is a part of, suit them for a monopoly.. they then turn around and require only IE6 on a government form.. so much for progress.. I am not sure what has to be done to get the browser to display a page.. unless they are using some activex control there should be no need for the delay..
