yes. I am using a linksys router.

Try testing without the router and see what your speeds are. You may need a router firmware upgrade.

What kind and version linksys router you have?  Are you using a HyperWrt Firmware?  Also, have you tried to uninstall your NIC driver and reboot.  Also, are you on half or full duplex?

I am going to hold off from doing any changes for a couple of days. My speed have greatly improved.

  I still have the same problem. Comcast on line help said my account was ok. I think I will need to call the main office to be sure I do not have 2 modems assigned to my account. So frustrating......
