Indestructable Posted October 24, 2005 CID Share Posted October 24, 2005 my, I'm confused...if it's a straight cd copy or image, there shouldn't be any probs
resopalrabotnick Posted October 24, 2005 CID Share Posted October 24, 2005 usually, the more you copy a program, the worse it gets. every copyin process adds new single bit errors to the data. these can be easily corrected by the error correction codecs, but that takes processin time . so unless you're running a first installation off an original disk you are burning processing power to make up for the corrupted data. Indestructable Posted October 25, 2005 CID Share Posted October 25, 2005 even if you copy the original install disc, there will still be errors?
jared Posted October 25, 2005 CID Share Posted October 25, 2005 If you are talking about XP as a OS itself, it's a decent OS for beginning/intermediate users.
