You know of anything else I can do to make this work? I emailed Toshiba like 2-3 days ago and last night I emailed them again. They just must not care.

There can't be nothing wrong with it. Same goes with my other 2 friends who have the same modem. You disable the firewall and it enables NAT. You turn the firewall on it disables the NAT, and allows all the computers to work at the same time.
-
well when I turn the firewall off it enables it and it only works on one computer.
-
Ok when I went to turn off the firewall it said doing this will ENABLE NAT. Ok can I do this and get my other computers to work all at the same time or not? Thanks...

I think what it is doing is sharing one IP address. I wonder if I can change them somehow. But on Live it shows that the Live IP is different then my main pc IP.

I tried finding the 1800 number but all I could find of theres to contact them is a email addy.

Ok I am either hoping your up or you will read this my morning. Well here is how things went. I turned off my Firewall and I shut every PC down and just turned on my Xbox. It said NAT open. So I think wow awesome! Then turn on my other PC's and they won't work on the Internet. So I had to turn the firewall back on. Anything I can do to fix this? Thanks

I really don't know. I did a Xbox Live test and it said NAT - - Restrict...So I tried opening the correct Xbox ports. I even did DMZ. Nothing makes the NAT say open.
-
But there is no way to open the NAT on my Toshiba modem? I want to see if I can do this be for I got buying new stuff. Here is what it says for NAT for my modem NAT/NAPT up to 252 CPE's what does that mean?
-
Well so I don't have to go through this do you know if there is a way to open the NAT on a Toshiba PCX 5000 so I can play everyone on Xbox live? If not then I need to buy one of these routers http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/routerlanding.htm or esle I won't be able to get on Live.

So they don't make them little adaptor thingys like they do for phone lines? Like a splitter that plugs into the one phone jack then 2 can go in it?

Ok here is my issue. I right now have a Toshiba PCX 5000 which has a sricted NAT. I guess there is no way to make it open so this is the way I have to go. I am going to my Cable Internet company and swapping to get this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7069744&type=product&id=1108126144181 for free since they said I can upgrade anytime. Ok is there anyway I can hook my Xbox 360 and Computer to this without having to get a router? Like to they have certain plug things that can go into the back of the modem and have them share connection or what? Please help.

Well...I tried hosting the game first (no luck) then he tried hosting it, with no luck there either. I emailed Toshiba the company who made my modem to see if they can open the Xbox ports. I just did what Microsoft told me to do. Hopefully they will email me back asap. But thanks for all your help in here guys.

No I didn't fix it. I am playing though now. I just can't play certain people. I don't see no update for the Toshiba PCX 5000. So I don't know. I think I might just have to get a new modem and router that is seperate with it. Dang this sucks.
-
Tried that and still makes it strict.
-
Anyone? Please...I really want to play my friend without having to buy a new modem and a router.

Ok here is my issue. I have my Xbox 360 setup. I also have my 360 going to my Toshiba PCX 5000 modem. When I do a test on Live it says my NAT is strict. Is there a way I can get it to be open so I can play my friend? It stops us from playing. Thanks

Nope my dad owns his own business and the guy sold it to my dad. Nothing came with it. I had to reboot back to brandnew also bbecause I could not bypass the passcode. But I am on it right now just trying to figure out how to get the volume buttons to work on the keyboard.
-
Ok I just got done doing all of that. Still doesn't work. Err this makes me angry, I don't like ot have to keep double clicking the sound bar in the corner then adjusting the volume.
-
Is there anything else I would have to install with it? i installed it and When i turn the volume up from taskbar the bars move on screen now. But it still won't turn up or down with the volume buttons.
-
Tried that and it didn't start working yet. I even restarted. I hit volume up and it doesn't turn it up or anything.

I been looking on Dell website inside drivers and I can't seem to find the driver for keyboard buttons like to get my volume buttons working again or anything. Can someone help me out? Thanks so much.
