Hello I am planning on getting a cheap PC for a graduation present and was definatley thinking http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=DE310RF2&s=dhs It says it has a DVD Burner, 160 Gig Hard Drive, 17 inch Flat Panel Monitor and Windows Media Center 2005. Is that a good deal for that? Btw is this to good to be true or is that what I my parents will actually be paying? I hope this is a good deal, I really want this for a graduation project. But only if all that stuff is true.

Ok so I am fine if I don't host a game? Will I be able to hold up in a game of 32 people with my connection?

No idea. I go to www.timewarnercable.com and click services and go to Premium and it says 8mb down. Then I type in my zip code and it says 6mb download. I think it is $15 extra a month so it would be like uh $60 a month.

Wow that's stupid why is Premium service in my area only 6mn down and not 8mb like your guys?

Well I need the upload speed for online gaming on my 360 since 384 is crap according to people on the 360 forums.

I right now have Road Runner 5mb down 384 up. I think this is Road Runner Basic? Well in my area Road Runner Premium is 6mb down and 512 up. Is it worth it for an extra $15 a month?

Well she can't do a update driver because she has no internet connection.

She said at the bottom it said found new hardware and said it installed but it still isn't working.

What should I have her do then? I am on the phone with her now and I already had her install the dirvers on the Dell disc. What do I do next?

Internal. She just installed the driver for the modem from the Dell disc and it still says hardware failure.

Well yeah I have fixed her computer several time before I installed XP Home last time. She has a Dell, do you think if she pops in the disc there will be a driver for the modem?

Yeah I recently installed Windows XP Pro onto a friends computer and now she says that she got the disc to connect to her local Dial-Up service and when she tries to connect it says hardware failure. Does anyone know what this is about? Anyway I can help her fix it?
