I have Linux Ubuntu and am not sure if I want to install it or not. I like it a lot but I will lose my ability to stream music from my pc to my Xbox 360. I was wondering can you somehow use Windows Media Connect on Ubuntu or what? I would like to use Ubuntu but I want to also stream music. What should I do XP Pro or Ubuntu?

Well it was working fine. Now it's back to low speed, grrr!

Ok I am back to normal speed! I am glad...I was starting to get angry.

Well I called and they said all is running well here. I dropped from 4.7mbps to 200-300kbps..I can't download anything without my browser stopping loading pages.

Ok well I checked and it doesn't say anything about maintanence or anything. Says it's working fine! My friend 4 houses up the road has RR to and same problem....

I just got off the phone with RoadRunner and they did tracert -d www.google.com and they said it was running fine and I should be getting full speed. He also said there are no problems out here. He said it was my computer. I don't see how it is ALL of my computers. I am getting very angry and am about to cancel this crap.

I have RoadRunner and everything was all fine when I went to school today running at about 4.7down. I come home and now all I got is this Download Speed: 768 kbps (96 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 356 kbps (44.5 KB/sec transfer rate) I tried unplugging the modem and router for like 20 minutes and still not working right. Someone help.

When I did the tweaks my connection stayed the same I wish it would improve mine.

I downloaded Trillain and all I can say is wow this thing is a system resource hog! I uninstalled it, but I might give it another shot.

Alright thanks. Wow this has been a long wait! Ordered like the 23rd and I don't get the rest of my stuff until Tuesday. I already got the processor/heat sink package and the ram.

Alright I won't worry. Are there spots in cases where you can tuck your IDE cables away at? I have a blue case coming with see through sides and I don't know if it is going to look like crap with IDE and all other cables laying around in it.

Alright cool I been working on computers on my Networking and Computer Repair class at school. All I been doing now is like putting in ram, putting in cd drives, hard drives, well the simple things. Thanks! I hope this doesn't take me all night to build though

Ok well I ordered all my hardware I need, a LCD monitor, and a anti-static bracelet. Can I work at a table that is on a carpeted floor? Or not?

What's wrong with a heat sink? They all got fans on them don't they. My processor came with a heat sink with built in fan on top, but I thought they all came that way anyway. Yeah I bought a bracelet, I should be fine now right? I don't want to fry anything.

Ok I order the 15' HP LCD screen. One last question (hopefully) Well I have heat sink compound, but my heat sink came with the square section on the bottom of it (sticky a little bit) if it has that am I still supposed to apply the compound? Thanks!
