I am using them all lol. I have Linux on my laptop, XP Pro on my new PC I built, and now I am installing a junk 10Gb HDD to put Vista on it. So yeah I do know what I want, and yes I do use them all. I like to experiment with them all.
Yeah I haven't noticed any slow down since installing a theme. I have 1 Gig Ram, 2.8ghz celeron processor...So yeah all is running good, I love the Vista Theme
Properties must be blocked for My Computer at our school. I just right clicked and it's not there like usual. Adam try on a PC down there, I don't think it is fully blocked.
Well I think I will wait until I get my new HDD to do this then. Because if I decide to get rid of it I know I can format the space I have it installed on but I can't combine it back with my other local HDD if you know what I mean?
So you are saying I should not dual boot Vista? Why is this not safe? I was planning on doing this when I get home. Oh btw if I do decide to do this how much space do you think would be good enough to partition for Vista?
Nothing really! LOL. Just one quick question for you, if I do dual boot can I remove Vista when the new beta comes out months later to install that one?
Hello all do you think it would be safe enough to just run the beta of vista on my PC? I really don't like dual booting so yeah. Do you think it would be safe?
Ok for TuneUp Utilities 2006 it says you can use any LSA or something format theme. Do you know where I can get those kinds? Because TuneUp barely makes any.
I don't think anyone said to many people at my school are using it. I said it just says it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it says you need to pay. It's dumb I think.
Adam...I get passed all websites on here...Instead of logging under your name type in rm94 and password is printer..then go on www.proxify.com and type in any password lol! Reason I say login on the rm94 thing is because so they don't trace it to you. Try it though it works.
^^^Topic...I was wondering because I been wanting to install a theme from xpthemes.org and I been told they slow down your pc A LOT. Well how bad is this slow down? Oh and why can't I get the themes to work anyway?
I'm sorry to go off topic, but where did you get that theme? Did you use desktop themes? I have been trying to get it to work but it just will not go through.
Ok I think I am going to dual boot for the heck of it. But yeah if I like Linux more and decide to get rid of Windows do I have to format my HDD to get rid of it and start over reinstalling Linux? Or can I choose to uninstall windows? If I uninstall windows I need to keep a folder with everything I downloaded. So can someone answer this? Thanks
