Damon, You may have hit the nail on the head,the pc I had before this one had a weird problem with the nic card that did exactly the same thing. after I changed the card etc...it reacted "normal" strange thing is now I'm not so sure if it was really a problem or not.Its just different than the way a nic card usually works. microwave

Hope, Depending on tour ISP and what you pay for your upload and download scores are pretty good. I'm in Tucson AZ. and cox hsi "guarantees " me 3000/256. My down is higher most of the time. My upload is mostly right on the money at 256.Sometimes its higher and sometimes lower but usually at advertised speed.As you know tweaking can have a big effect on speeds both good and bad,I keep a good copy of my REG files I am always "tweaking", Have fun. ditto here in Tucson, although I don't work for cox as Damon does it does appear in Tsn. I'm getting alot more than I pay for.It seems like a good move to me cause not alot of people in my area are not able to take advantage of the extra bandwidth. I very often have a lot higher upload than I pay for.Right now my shi@ is slower due to some junk that jack me. x VanBuren, You are correct I have tested before around the world and my speed is usually cut in half. The test I just made to Sweden was less than half my normal speed.As a matter of fact my normal speed right now sucks due to some lame sh#^ I recently loaded and jacked my home page etc. microwave P.S.
