Build your own Myspace social network Deconstructing MySpace.com Part 1 - Social Networking Database "MySpace is the social networking phenomenon that is sweeping the nation. Having recently been sold for US$580 Million, it is plain to see that the format has a value, and indeed, just about everyone I know below the age of 25 has a MySpace account. The reason MySpace works is because it puts the control of the content in the hands of the users, and by catering to the social aspects of the human condition has found itself in an enviable position of mass appeal despite some criticism." "The purpose of this, first of many articles is to deconstruct the application

Anger grows over Bush surveillance report "Pennsylvania's Arlen Specter, the Republican chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, vowed to force executives from AT&T, Verizon and BellSouth to show up at a hearing and answer questions about what data they quietly handed over to the NSA without court approval." [i hope America hasn't been so defeated by fear that it can't stand up against this]

Full body teleportation system ~ United States Patent Application "This invention is a system that teleports a human being through hyperspace from one location to another using a pulsed gravitational wave traveling through hyperspace." in other words ~ "A full body teleportation system consisting of: generating a pulsed gravitational wave which propagates through a magnetic vortex wormhole generator; and generating a wormhole with the magnetic vortex generator whereby the pulsed gravitational wave traverses through the wormhole and enters into hyperspace where the wave is enormously magnified due to the lower speed of light in that dimension." Read the BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION ~ lol [might be one of the reasons PR isn't a State!] j/k

T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless not supplying data to NSA "If you're a Cingular or Sprint Nextel customer, well, it looks like you're in the same boat as the vast majority of landline users: those companies refused to deny participation in the NSA program." . . .it's only getting more confussing ~ don't cell towers use the infrastructure of the local (wired) telcos? and don't 'real' terrorists already use prepaid cell cards? . . .the point is ~ terrorists ARE winning ~ by destroying 'OUR' Constitutional rights, along with 'OUR' Constitution, slowly but surely!! [who are the 'real' anti-American terrorist, anyway?] Verizon sued for giving NSA phone records "Two New Jersey public interest lawyers sued Verizon Communications Inc. for $5 billion Friday, claiming the phone carrier violated privacy laws by turning over phone records to the National Security Agency for a secret government surveillance program." "No warrants have been issued for the disclosure of such information, no suspicion of terrorist activity or other criminal activity has been alleged against the subscribers," the lawsuit said. "Verizon, the country's largest telecommunications company by revenue, said in a statement that the company had not yet seen the lawsuit and, because of that, believed it was premature to comment."

A total of 502 randomly selected sheepeople found that 63 percent of Americans said they found the NSA program to be an acceptable way to investigate terrorism, including 44 percent who strongly endorsed the effort. For every 1 million Americans whose records were turned over to NSA, the telcos could be liable for $1 billion in penalties, plus attorneys fees. You do the math. Telcos Could Be Liable For Tens of Billions of Dollars

Intel talks about what we can expect from its new gaming CPU, Core 2 Extreme ~ a 40% gain over the current 3.73 GHz Extreme Edition 965 - which would be rather impressive and could indicate a problem for AMD. In this interview with TG Daily, Intel also claims that a Core 2 Extreme-based enthusiast PC will leave the pixel power of a Playstation 3 in the dust.
