Hey KBERT...welcome to the forum The best basic file to start with is a folder and note pad to keep all the paperwork and time spent on hold with tech support together.. Also keep all boxes is good shape as you have 30 days to get your money back... OK ..sorry we're not all as happy as you are right now with Dway....... I remember getting my system hooked up too. Go to Dway forum and in the thread Fastest Ever download the TCP optimizer......it's in the middle of the post. do as the instructions say in the post and it should help some.....also Vanburen is working on some tweaks that do similar things but their still in work......but feel free to try them.. OK .....just ran several tests and bounced in and out of the site in between tests......not a single glitch today

Yea CA3LE ...all given files with a listed size run fine...just Smartest 10% of the time glitches. It's on download and the 97KB file runs but it won't forward to the next file size...just a blank white screen. This only started 2-3 days ago. However I'm not having problems with the site load....it always works fine.

I have trouble also running download smart test..97kb runs.....but the next file won't load....just a blank screen. I just thought it was Dway at it's finest again but it's just the last 2-3 days. Ps Put Dway in your spell check please.....

Ok Van, I just ran all 8 of the DW6000 tweaks.....the results are below.....or you can verify using my screen name. I have DW6000 home accnt. 3.4 pentium 4 HT 1 Gig of ram....SM5 @1230Mhz sig strength mid 80's. 1460mtu tests first one upload ran 75...75...69 download ran 1005...668....883 2nd file upload ran 72....74...76 download 995...995..993 3rd file upload 66...76...78 download 995...904....899 last file upload 9...9.... download 967.....993.....998 1500 mtu tests first one upload 54....48....44 download 814....841....643 2nd test upload 68....76.....72 donwload 979....1735....993 3rd test upload 77...68....63 download 993....990....995 last test upload 58....53....62 download 1452.....703....945 As you can see some of the uploads improved drastically.....for my connection......not sure what's up with the 1452 and the 1735 numbers...that never happens to me . Think I'll go play with the 4000 settings for a while!! Hope this helps.....

Yea but Rev has a commercial account......twice as much money ...and half again as much speed. Lots more bandwidth .....bigger Fap.....and diffrent sat and governor.....

Van .....the cap seems to depend on any moment in time that they (dway) chooses......I've never heard them admit to anything......in my 3 yrs and hundreds of hours with them. But I will say my 4000 was way faster than this 6000 crap. I was usually around 2100 Kbs with it......doing good to see 1000 with this new one....

OK I think I located the problem.....not sure how to fix it though. Tools - internet options - advanced tab.........check java scripting......ok, mine was GONE......want out to Sun.com and down loaded 1.4.2.07. rebooted and now it shows up in the above menu......but still won't work???? Ohhhhh and Van....I thought you meant for me to go to My direcway......that's where I would need to log in...My Bad.

Well still dead.....restart and resetting the modem didn't help. Maybe another DW6000 user can try a secure site to see if it's Dway or ME..

Ok restored spybot, microsofts, registry mechanic............no help.....going to reboot and reset 6000 modem.

Yes I run Norton and it found nothing..... I have XP prof....D F----ign Way IE 6 Sp2 anything else.....?? Also after realizing the problem I went into internet options....security options and reset to default...reboot...no help

OK I run spybot-microsofts spyware-registry mechanic-and norton this morning. Nothing out of the ordinary showed up.....cleaned everything. Rebooted the machine and life was good .....I thought. NOW I can't log onto any secure site @#$%$#@ soooo.....what did I F___ up. Please!!!!!!

Well.....pretty impressive......1000 members through last year.......1000 new members in Jan. alone.......and averaging 50 a day this month. Sure wish my stocks were do that good Congrats CA3LE.........you're doing something right here!!
