i had sortof the same problem but i was using a linux bootloader i forgot what it was called. Which i couldnt boot xp so i had to repair xp

yah that was rediculous. A couple of years ago my fatherlaw credit card was being charged with out his permission. They ended up charging around 1000 dollars for crap he didnt order.

mine running pretty good, I also had some driver issues as well. I had to us an xp driver for my sound, and my video driver is slowing things down alittle. tired to use an xp driver it wouldnt take it -

I have partion magic. Ive just splited my 100 gig into two partions. I have xp on one partion and vista on the other

ive just created another partion an my hard drive and did a fresh install of vista. So far ive got alot of xp programs to work on vista. Hell i had to use a xp sound driver to get my sound to work. The driver creative had to vista woundnt install

well i download vista it took me around about 5 hours to download. got it installed and it runs pretty good on my AMD 1.7 and a gig of ram.Got one question when i do a print screen and do a paste in paint i get this ugly pic??

What type of Cat 5 you running. 100 350 or 500mhz. When i network my computer to my fatherlaws computer which was about 100 or more feet, my hub would only work on one end. so when i replaced it with 350mhz it work bothways and noticed faster transfers.

If i was you ill be upgrading to an pci express. From what i heard from someone that there fixing to stop making board with agp on them?

have you ever used an agp card on that board? You'll get alot better performace out of that agp slot than that pci slot. That agp card would just slip in like an pci beside it has a clip on the agp to keep it in to spot, and bios should recognize the card.

The top board pic is your motherboard, I think i just dont know why your not using the agp?
