ya hit the nail on the head --- That's the point, that at this point it's not a problem, if you are having any speed degradation it due to the route not the server, I have looked deeply into my server stats and watched my traffic... my server is taking on the traffic with no problem... very easy for it. BUT if your route to my server is congested your S.O.L. -- some servers will have better routes than other at different times of the day. But my personal experience for the past couple months has been a very clean route... ever since level3 dropped out of my tracert, but everyone is different. The only thing putting any load on my server right now... is those few scripts I have yet to convert to PHP ~ once those are done we will be even better off

Right now... at 999 members -- told you it was going to happen, my sign-ups have gone nuts since I opened the new board. edit : at this rate in about 1 1/2 months we will be over 2,000 members

I like the suggestion, but seriously it is down the road... I truely am not even tapping into my resources on this new server and members are not being effected by each other, if they are it's VERY VERY minimal - the only negative stuff that has happened on my server has been shit that I caused durring migration, script updates and other BS... and that's because my dumb ass edits live sometimes with hundreds of people on the site. - servers are expensive so unless someone wants to find a way to hook my ass up with twice as many people on the site a month (to support my adverts) I won't be able to do this for a while. BUUUUUT, with the way that traffic trends with this site (over the past two years of data taken into account) I should be at twice as many users (not forums members.. users) in 3-5 months and 6-10 months I will be at 4X --- forum members should 2X in a mere 1 1/2 months or less ~~~~~~ Crazy how websites grow like snowballs ANY-POOP ~~ I would love to offer some more servers, but seriously I should be able to handle the next year of traffic growth with no problem... but I may be wrong, 2004 I had about 5 server changes do to growth... we will see. I may be wrong I can barely see the front end (shadowish) ok time for my car... these pics are not of my personal car, but it only has 3000 miles so it looks just the same Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII - w/ B&B Turbo Back Exhaust, APS true cold Intake, 1 Gal intercooler sprayer reservoir, Exedy Twin Plate Hyper Clutch... all already done to the car and it has 3000 miles ~ It's a 13.08 sec 1/4 mile / 0-60 4.7 sec car from the factory (http://www.fast-autos.net/mitsubishi/mitsubishievo8.html) -- Now I have run a 11.9 sec 1/4 and 0-60 (at Speedworld Motorplex, without my new clutch) I estimate is right at maybe a little over 3.9 sec -- got it dynoed and to the floor it's 260 HP 255 ft/lbs - the owner of Dyno Comp in Scottsdale says that with the drive train loss of an AWD car it should equate to about 360 HP 345 Ft/lbs to the flywheel. He also mentioned that the stock EVO put's only 180 to the floor, so I have gained 80 HP to the floor with the little mods I did. ~~~ this car is my baby and everyday she eats a Corvette, Mustang, WRX STi and a VW Golf GTI R32 for breakfast then eats a Stock Skyline R34, Nissan 350Z and Toyota Supra for a lite lunch... then eats a Porsche for dinner and gets barely pulled on by an NSX and Lamborghini when she tries to go out for a snack in Scottsdale... Damn Lamborghini's . So far I have had it to about 155, I need to take off the governer if I want to go faster... but I don't think I want to go faster

Yea it will be a yearly type of membership --- it's a good deal, and I have a database of about 10's of thousands of ringers and screensavers... it's going to be a damn good deal... just have a shit load of bugs to clean and file sorting to do.
