Your IP hasn't changed since you've posted here. What does that end with again .....125 ... Okay. Well, anyway SBC isn't supposed to be a static IP, along with a lot of other providers, but the IP's sometimes (most of the time) don't changes for months... even YEARS (in my own case) ------ even if your IP changed every-single-login you can EASILY be tracked... just want to inform you that you are never safe from persecution when it comes to breaking to law online. But in the other sense, you are not breaking a law at all in your post... you are however breaking MY laws that I govern on my site by posting SPAM. Example being that you are tring to drive visitors to your site for personal gain... not for gain of others. You have not broken any laws by saying that you "HACK" but you are however posting on a pretty prominent site on the internet... though this one post may only be read a few thousand times in the immediate future but this site is viewed by litteraly hundreds of thousands of people per month and I myself would not want that kind of exposure when talking about breaking the law. BUUUUUUUUUT, that's allllllll goooood because you don't really know what your talking about... and I am in no means trying to PUNK you or talk crap... but to tell you the truth people that know how to TRULY hack........ don't talk about it. PERIOD. Because, well, they are smart. Just tell me what ~ means and does and what that symbol is called AND we might have a discussion. Or wait how about this {{$INPUT{'VAR'} =~ s/http:////; }} <<<<< By the way that is not bullshit that is a TINY ISTSY BITSY PERL script-portion ----- Lemme know what that function does and we might have a conversation. Try to google it, I dare ya Don'ts makes promises you can'ts keeps --- Smigel -- Lord of The Rings **** (well, he didn't say that but it sounds like he would have )

Very true, this is a Forum, not a link posting, If you have a link you wish to share I sugest you post at the links page http://www.testmy.net/links/index.php?show=add // though there is a review process and I have no guarantee that your site will be accepted. Sites that are not accepted include *personal sites *sites that are not top level domains (.com .net .org etc... -- no geocities stuff allowed ) *sites with accessive advertisments *sites with pornographic material *sites with flashing and gambleing advertisments *sites with malware, spyware, adware or pop-ups of ANY kind *sites that are selling a service or product (it would REALLY have to impress me... this is what advertising is for.) *sites that link to any sites that contain the above There are many more reasons why a site can be rejected. I haven't looked at your site(s) yet so we don't know (I just snip 'em) -- submit and we will see from there... And don't get butthurt if your site is rejected, if it's way too far off subject I may reject it also.

Ahh yes... good old Fedora Project Actually running RedHat Enterprise 3 --- you?

I just wanna show this off... I have been using SSH and telnet to admin my site for years... just for fun i got some remote VNC going, since the speed test I would run would not be accurate from my site (because well... the test subject is also the server) I went ahead and downloaded SP2 from microsoft... got it at about 33Mbps --- 270MB only took a few seconds to download ~ wish I had that at home ~~~ Sorry if it looks weird to some of you it's RedHat Can anyone beat that....... OH by the way, I tried to test at various testing sites and I couldn't get an accurate reading anywhere --- all read me at waaaaaay too low like lower than my home connection. Seems as if I freaked out their tests or something ---- DSLR could not be used because I don't feel like installing the java required to test (with linux you basically have to install every little aspect of the OS yourself --- and well, I am tired right now) LATER!

First of all BIGTEX, try this >> https://www.speedguide.net/files/TCPOptimizer.exe Post your speed after that.

I would have said the same thing if his issue was with FTP also, but he FTP'd into his box which is RIGHT next to mine and it was normal... downloaded via http and it's slowed ~~ sounds like a browser problem or something with port 80 /// possible browser problem may be spyware related or registry related because he used to get 11-12 Mbps here and it only dropped for him recently. luwigie, you may also want to try TCPOptimizer which is on my front page, from speedguide. Let us know your resolution to this issue. - Damon

That's very wierd because when you first started coming here you were getting 11-13 Mbps (I just confirmed that by pulling yourold scores) --- it seems to me like you may have something wrong with your browser or port 80, one of the good thinks about TestMy.net is that it tests through the browser not through an applet like DSLR (which by the way I am not dogging on... they have a good test.. just different from the way I chose to do it). I am going to PM you some FTP info (to a temp account on my server) and you can FTP up and FTP back a file and post the results --- then try the same file VIA http (I know you know where to put it to do that ) I have just activated a 12MB test system wide, people will get routed to this test if they score higher than 10Mbps on the 2992KB test, I have also made the 2992KB test a choice on the main test page.

I haven't read your post on your website yet (I am very busy at the moment but will read it after your respond) but isn't your CISCO ubr924 DOCIS 1.0 only?!??! I beleive Bresnan Communications runs only DOCIS 2.0 now, I may be wrong (but usually am not ) What I would do is just get another modem, and what I reccomend is a Linksys BEFCMU10 or BEFCMU10v2 or BEFCMU10v3 ~~ just a personal favorite. I have never had a problem with mine and always get great connectivity out of it. I would also trust Motorola and Terayon (kinda) ---- Just do me a favor and stay away from DLINK, the price may make you think about it but I personally don't trust them ever since a 33.6 modem I had of theirs (of course YEARS and YEARS ago) caught on fire. CISCO is bad ass, look here http://www.testmy.net/faq.html#Net ----- but I personally wouldn't spend CISCO kinda money on a cable modem ~~

My head would fall off if I went public... that would just be a little friggen insane, -- and a little out of my league, but it would be the coolest shit ever Glad to hear that you find the ads on my site to be relevant, that's always a good thing... but the thanks and praise needs to go to Google for the ad delivery, they have a very smart system, and it just keeps getting better. As always, thank you all for your support.

Yes it is pay-per-click more info can be found here >> https://www.google.com/adsense/faq Though I would like the extra revenue I don't want you to click just for fun, I want this program to last and by clicking the ads without intention to at least check out the product or service offered will be ripping off the advertiser... this in the end will lower my payout rates (along with all publishers) and ruin the program. Also Google has a pretty smart fraud system that kicks out clicks that it feels were made in error or clicks from one person that happen too often. If you see something that your interested in, click the ad and check it out... otherwise ignore the ads. My hosting is more than paid for, I am happy with that... every penny over that is just play money for me for all the hours upon hours of scripting I have done to create this site... I'm not tring to get rich off this, but if it happens... I'm not going to complain either - - Thank you - Damon

AdSense publishers are not allowed to publically discuss revinue... But yes, hosting is pretty expensive
