Maximum connections should not matter because only one page is being requested at once... I am may make a test that requests all the pagesat once I haven't decided yet. The most important thing that come into consideration is connection speed in conjunction with CPU speed and overall computer & browser health. Those are all factors on the regular download test but not nearly as much as with this test. This basically will tell you how fast you can surf the internet (not just download a file off the internet) and I don't think anyone has made a test like it... please correct me if I'm wrong.

ehhh... I couldn't wait.. I added the star rating to the cut n paste :::.. Page Load Stats ..::: Subjective Rating:: 4 1/2 out of 5 stars Load Speed:: 1782 Kbps or 217 KB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Bottom Line:: loaded 10 100KB pages in 4.437 seconds Still thinking if I should do that to the other tests... feedback guys?

The thing is that I really don't know how to scale this test... it's completely new and that's why it's in beta stage. Here is what I get :::.. Page Load Stats ..::: Load Speed:: 1063 Kbps or 130 KB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Bottom Line:: loaded 10 50KB pages in 3.719 seconds :::.. Page Load Stats ..::: Load Speed:: 1782 Kbps or 217 KB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Bottom Line:: loaded 10 100KB pages in 4.437 seconds All the pages load at the same speed for me, I think I got the star rating about right... and the rating adjusts different for each test size, so your star rating should be about the same reguardless of what test you use --- for both of the tests I posted... I got 4 1/2 stars -- I think tomorrow I will add in the cut n paste the star rating Everyone please give your feedback on this new tool....

I used AVG for the longest time... but the Client Security isn't just antivirus -- click the link I supplied and see, it's one kick ass program. I won't use any toolbars myself... but I would trust the Google toolbar, Google is good peeps.

Well I never see any security problems because I run Symantec Client Security... it has made my internet browsing much more enjoyable and basically blocks out everything but the real content of the pages I am requesing... it's very smart too. I have ran it for about 2 months now and had only a couple of spyware/adware bugs reported from Adaware since ~~ I see almost NO advertisments anymore, and if an ad does get through... and bugs me, I can add them to my library and never have to see it again ~ You can see more here >> http://enterprisesecurity.symantec.com/products/products.cfm?ProductID=154 --- it's a killer program

Yea those guys always fell for that shit... they were always ready for action. We would make a call and watch the guy in his truck peelout and do a 180 trying to 'get to the scene of the crime' --- all while we were laughing our asses off in our car

ima five firefox a little run... let ya know what I feel about it

Your speed doesn't look all that bad now... expect a speed drop with the wireless... even if it's 802.11G ~~~ my connection drops to 2900 Kbps or 354 KB/s ~~ I normally run at about 3900 Kbps or 476 KB/s that's about 25% loss going to wireless from 100 Mbps network ---- so never expect your wireless to run to par with your hardwired connection even if you have the cleanest signal ever thought of

I have MAC authentication on my network... Back in the day I used to drive in my truck with my laptop and snoop ~~ but all I would do is find unsecure networks that had shared printers and print off a document showing them how easy it was for me to get in and also letting them know about WEP and MAC AUTH ~~ but that was also back in the days when my friends and I would tap into drive thru frequencies and mess with the Taco Bell and Mc Donalds people... The people who are working in the resraunt can hear this all... but can't really do anything short of walking out there and talking to the customer in person Us -- "Welcome to Tabo Bell, would you like to try a New Crunchy Chalupa?" Person in the car -- "uhhh, no... can I get a Number 1 with Sprite?" Us -- "No" Person in the car -- "Ummm, are you kidding me." us -- "Naw, just kidding... what do you want again?" Person in the car -- "A number 1 with a sprite." Us -- "Sorry but we're out of meat..." Person in the car -- "No way, can I talk to your manager!" Us -- "Sure one second"... ... ..."This is Jeff" Person in the car -- "The other guy just said your out of meat, what's going on?!?!" Us -- "Well we ran out of all of our meat at about 1pm after the lunch rush... so now we are just fucking with our customers." ------- and the customer peels out most likely going to call the corporate office We were stupid... and out for a laugh.... they would always change their frequencies... but it only took a max of like 5-15 minutes to scan the new one half duplex can kinda be a bitch... it's simply great when they use simplex, scan that one pretty quick bah ha ha -- we also would radio in fake calls to Mall security guards...
