If you have other options than d-way i would take them now and cancel d-way before your 30 days are up. I ve been told that usb cables loose there strenght after 15 feet . I would stay away from d-way if you have the choice. But if your like me and dont have any choices except dialup, they are alot faster on download speeds and a little faster on uploads. I use my dw 4000 to network 5 computers. If I were you I would cancel my contract with d-way now look on ebay for a dw4000 and save your self hundreds with faster connection speeds.. It is a proven fact the dw4000 connects almost a meg faster than the dw6000. configuring a network is alittle harder but well worth it.

Yea I bought it outright i couldnt afford 100 a month for internet access they gave me alittle trouble in the beginning but they wanted the 60 bucks a month..I have seen the reverand post some tweaks for direcway dw6000 and a very interesting article too about direcway using 6000 on there end and there uploads and downloads suck too.

my signal is 79 on a clear day Im on g11 1350 I live in the north east the only time my dish goes out is when there is weather in md and in vt... ive been through some big snow storms up here and still had sat.... My dish is ungrounded will this help me with speed???? if i do it and where do you recommend grounding it to the dish or transmitter or coaxle or all three and how long of a rod in the ground I have some 12/3 wire hanging around will this do the trick
