Guess it depends which end of the stick your on 128 or 2, or as Bill Clinton said it depened on your deff of fast .You go 128 after having 4Kbps that fast

Your downloads over 3Mbps, and i know cable one. And there upload is advertised at 300Kbps. So your right there.

Thats actually faster then dial up. When i had dial up downloaded at 5Kbps now thats slow

Its a program that manages your swap file.It take longer for your puter to go search for something on your hard drive then getting it direcitly from ram. So it limits how much goes into your virtual memory ( swap file). Pages load faster and switching from 1 window to another is faster if its getting it from ram instead of your swap file on your hard drive.

I was flitting by posts and i saw your thing bout cachmen5.0, so since i like to try things I downloaded it and what a diff. My pagefile useage has dropped to 8.2Mbs to 8.4Mbs. Pages are switching out much faster. Thanks

Yes i've been thinking of getting rid of spybot and adaware, going to keep spyblaster thou its not a scan program. thanks for info.

I have mcafee virus scan and mcafee firewall, both on line services automatic updates. I also have spyblaster, ad aware, spybot, and the beta version of microsofts spyware program ( which is really giant spyware scanner microsoft bought the company out). Now when i downloaded the beta version it found 3 spyware programs that adaware, and spybot missed. So you have to have more then 1 spyware scanning program, and there all free, but have to remember to update dat files regularly. I check all 3 everyday except the microsoft 1 because that has automatic updates.
