Hi Karthic my link to sygate firewall checks out ok, I have tried zone alarm ( a resource hog ) Outpost I found confusing , (noobie) sygate runs well on low spec puters also, Hey Swimmer, sygate must have been good for Norton to buy it, coz all they make is crap, doe's a good firewall need updating ? wmr.

Hi Karthic you can get sygate personal firewall from = www.ocom/program.php?n=sygateldversion. I can recommend ver. 5.5. 2525, I found 5.6 slows my puter, are you running 2 antivirus progs ? Norton and AVG I know which one I would choose to remove

[i use Maxthon because it has tabs and is like IE. Don't get pop ups either. Also it doesn't use as much resources as IE.] Maxthon is only a skin on IE, and has all the same probs. yes it has tabs , and yes I use it, I find it smoother than firefox, I think IE 7 will be good , with tabs from a noob

hi wingzero 2309 Hey, v. nice car, it just begs for stick shift, buy it, can the dealer give some lessons, on a old used car, ? if not can you drive it on some back roads, just to get used to the clutch and shift, most learner drivers in the UK get the hang of it within the hour, as you already drive it should be easier, Yeah, bet you forget sometimes I have had the same problem in reverse (stick shift to auto ) and at odd times I was feeling for the clutch pedal, LOL, you cant beat stick shift (manual gear change in the UK) on a fast twisty road, TOTAL control, If you would like to pay my air fare , I would be happy to teach you the art Regards Roco UK

Hi Guys , I have just joined the forum as a newbie, Already you are scaring the Sh*t out of me, is my son a hacker ? well it made me think some, He can be augmentative at times, last night he borrowed my car to take his new girlfriend out, this morning as a caring parent, I checked out my pride and joy ( the car ) apart from some footprints on the headlining, it was OK, strangely it had only clocked up 10 miles, the only place round here in a 5 mile radius Worth visiting is the local woods , but not at night, so could he be a hacker But what is even more worrying is I seem to fit the profile of a hacker #1 I am changing my appearance = growing silver hair, #2 I use AMD proc. #3 I crave more memory #4 I have updated my vid. card the list goes on and on So as a caring parent I am baning myself from using the puter , and my wife has grounded me from going to the pub, until I mend my ways,
