now now tommie...there u go again...don't take me outta context...i'm not talking about posts...we should be talking about speed tests...any speed test...is great...that's what the forum is for...what i was speaking of is big banner ads for other speed test sites in members signatures (u know...where the whole image is a link)...there is nothing confusing about that is there... and i know that the members aren't intentionally posting banner ads...it just looks cool... and hooters and whoppers r absolutely in...as long as they r covered

tommie, my feathers r not in a ruffle and i hear what ur saying but that's not what my post was about...the test is not accurate and it appears that testmy some how stands behind this other site...it's not up to testmy standards...i know what u guys r saying...but it's not going to be allowed...it in fact is against the sig standards in the forum rules...and we don't advertise for other speed test sites for free (there is a link in the lefthand column for that) and it's not free, i don't think it is anyway (they'd have to ask google)... i know it looks cool...but the test is not up to our standards...i'm not trying to sound snooty but it's just a fact...we all know it like i said...compare us with the rest and come back to the best i couldn't agree more...but...^^^...see above

so if everyone agrees that testmy is more accurate then why are some people posting their speedtest.net scores in their sig?...just curious...doesn't make sense to me...posting inaccurate scores...and advertising for the site that did the test...

that's sometimes true...but u'll know it got a good home...there are collectors of everything out there...and they look on ebay for the parts to keep their stuff running...i just bought some sort of "antique" ram for an old computer of my dads a while back...my son has an old commodore 64 also that belonged to his grfather (if he still has it)...someday there will probably be (if there isn't already) a museum of computers...huh?
