yeh it did take guts...because he obviously knew that there are issues and he was offering to help in anyway he could...but by the first couple of responses he got, he got head butted outta here...so there goes whatever he had to offer...we'll never know...he hasn't made another post since and has only been back once...just shameful imo

i don't think there is such an account here at testmy that wouldn't allow her to do a download test...anyone can test, even guests...but members get to access their past results using their registered name for at least a year... edti: oh wait...i get it...an XP limited account, on the pc she's using...download as in...oh...yeh... the administrator would be the person that manages the computer or your boss or your iss dept, parent, spouse, whoever owns the computer...for me it's my son...just depends on whereyou're using the computer...so i guess we need more info... edit: cuz i just turned my brain on

not file sharing, that's not the issue...torrents and wares is the issue...in the first issue with the hub...the user specifically posted that another user could get the key gen crack for an av file on the hub and he used the testmy name in his url and blatantly said he was gonna get his users by pulling users from testmy...this torrent site mentioned here...on the first page mentions files that include the cd key...this stuff doesn't belong on testmy boards...if these sites r gonna be shared it should be by pm or im or some other means than on the boards of this forum

i used to use incredimail...anyone have any thought on incredimail??...i liked it cuz it was fun to and easy to use...easy to set up folder and block and bounce. and it ran in the task bar so i always knew when i had mail

omg...ca3le has one of those...still in the box that he got from his grandpa's afer he died (his grandpa...not ca3le ) ...those were very popular...i remember alot of advertising...never saw one in action tho sounds like the one i was talking about on the previous page...the CuttingEdge...or was it LeadingEdge...hell i dunno...one of those

if it's still working i'm guessing that u've done some upgrading since then...huh?? gosh i was waiting for ca3le to tell u about his first pc...cuz he'd know the specs better than me...but i'll tell ya what i think i remember... it was little...picked up at the humane society auxiliary thrift shop for about $235...CE (cutting edge) was the make...the year was maybe 1995 (ca3le was like 14 and borrowed the money from his grandpa to buy it...payed him back right away too )...the monitor was about 12 inches deep and about 6" high x 8" wide...the processor i think was like a 286 something or another...it did some basic word processing stuff and was able to get onto bulletin boards...not sure what stage the internet (as we know it) was at...baby stages maybe...but i don't think this thing was able to do it...the case sat flat and the monitor sat on top of it...the keyboard plugged into the front of the case...seems so long ago (maybe because of where the technology is today, feels like dinosaurs like this should have been much farther in the past) but it was only 10 years ago. oh yeh and the floppy discs were huge
