Unless some of your computer acting as server, you need to tweak all, so after you tweaked your mac, continue with the windows PC. modem ---> router ----> all computers VanBuren
-
i have never tweaked a mac, and cablenut dosent support it try these links http://www.dslreports.com/faq/7136 http://www.sustworks.com/site/prod_ottuner.html and let us know how it worked out for you good luck VanBuren

If hes limited to the 100Mbps uplink im suprised scores is not even worce....... Today alot of ppl shooting at 5 Mbps so a average speed should be around 3-4 Mbps and you can see in my previous post what kinda bandwidth is required for that VanBuren
-
cool version 2 or the first one? VanBuren
-
the priority nr 1 must be to make testmy.net generate stable accurate speeds, if its a routing issue, lack of bandwidth, or something else, thats CA3LE

would be intresting to know what kinda bandwidth thats avalible for the server, the only thing that pointing to a routing issue is that my speed is bad against Gregoramas server aswell and hes also on The Planet network http://www.greg.project4.info/halorecordings.WMV also this speedtest below shows crappy scores when traffic is high, but it shows higher then testmy.net, maybe its just bad accuracy at upseros speedtest i dont know... ( this also located at the planet network ) http://www.upseros.com/testvelocidad.php VanBuren

with that low ping to testmy.net you should be able to get very good speed without any tweaks, unless you have some issues in your ISP network. Sometimes Ping shows up ok even tho your dropping TCP packets, try this delete tweaks and check what speed you get with default settings, open cablenut adjuster click delete cablenut tweaks + click save to registry. also if you have Dr.TCP open that and make sure every field is blank or is set to default, scroll on network adapters and blank out every MTU value, click save. now reboot your pc and run a new speedtest, also run this test and post result http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks VanBuren -
hey monkhoous and welcome to the forum what is advertised speed for your dsl service? run this test http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks copy result URL adress and paste it here VanBuren

i think it counts, it was the fastest score, didnt say nothing about how old it can be Is that test made before your upgrade to 4 Mbps? anyway its awesome VanBuren

no problem I live up in northern Sweden and we also have plenty of snow, a company i used to work for had a similar connection as you. When snow got stuck in the dish, speed was horrible, but snowing had always a negative effect on speed, even tho we cleaned that dish. VanBuren
