It can be a problem, but you need to make several tracerts to check that, Its common that some nodes deprior ICMP traffic, so ping is high but speed works good anyway.

Sometimes im thinking about upgrade to 100 Mbps just for 2 months and see what speeds i can get overseas
But i dont know, maybe i will miss it too much when changing back to 10 Mbps so i think i let it go
