  1. i heard cox people are getting 4mbits down for only 40 bucks a month.... unfortunately, im stuck with RR, wich is $45/month, and i dont get anywhere near 4mbits.... RR has some premium version of it, but its $80/month, for 6mbits down :::.. RR has been very weird lately, sometimes the speeds are fast as usual, but sometimes it just slows down incredibly, sometimes even disconnecting me for like an hour why cant texas have anything besides RR???? why?????? y not all those fast companies like cox or comcast or w/e it is that gives u like 6000kbs??? why??????????

  7. oh i forgot to mention that both computers are running on Windows XP Home SP2...if that helps at all
  8. how exactly do i set up a server? i got it to work so that i can share files via the My Shared Folder thing, and i also got it so we can print stuff off of eachothers printers. But print server? dont u need to buy one of those? also i noticed that i cant print off of another printer if the computer that is connected to it is off. Is there any way to make it so i can still access the printers without the computers having to be on? thx for the help
  9. I have 2 computers and i have a wireless router(linksys befw11sr 802.11b). I want to set up a network in a way so that i can have a folder that both computers are able to access, and also i want it so that one computer can print stuff off of the printer connected to the other computer. Is this possible? heres how the network is setup so far(both computers have internet access)
  10. It does the same to me, i tested with the Large 579kb file, heres a pic: I tried teh Small and Medium files too and it gives me the same thing... That test was taken with FireFox...when i take the Upload test with Internet Explorer, it works fine...heres a pic: Is firefox just not compatible with the Upload test? download works fine. sry about the low quality pics...had to make em jpeg
