um, for the most part, that 20 dollar plan gives u like max 1.5mb down(i think)/i dont know the upload with RR im getting 3.0mb down, so im stiking with rr

my desktop after some much needed cleanup: oh..wen i did the printscrn...it also showed some weird line on the startmenu...and im too lazy to get rid of it, so you will have to use your imaginations!

i installed windows xp on my sisters old cruddy comp (700Mhz PIII, 128MB SDRAM), and it runs somewhat slow for startup(this is with minimal startup items), and it runs considerably slower than it did when it had Win98, but its a hell of a lot more stable from experiencing it, i would recommed that if ur putting xp on a comp, have at least 256mb of ram

i've heard avant and maxthon are basically just IE shells, theyre vulnerable to everything IE is vulnverable. They're just fancy clothing on a not-so-fancy browser (this is what i've heard from MANY people)

i have noticed that my download goes down wen my upload gets too high, so i use the thing in bittornado to limit my max upload to 50 instead of like 70 because 1)i cant surfe the web if its that high, and 2)my download suffers

thx for all the responses guys. as for the kind of music i want to play, i want something like what ryan cabera, michelle branch, blink182, yellowcard, greenday, good charlotte etc. play also, i am not into like heavy metalish stuff at all, and i usually see those people using electric looking guitars, and...i'd rather play something other than what sounds like crazy killer music lol but after reseraching more into the guitar...i dont even know if its my thing does anyone know if music stores (Strait Music to be exact) lets you like 'try out' instruments just to see how it feels to play? i used to play cello, and i wanted to get one of those but i looked at the prices...and they were like 3000 bucks...so yea... Anyways, is music on the cello similar to reading music for guitars (i dont remember it but i figure i could maybe catch on faster since i knew how to read music before(in 6th grade) wen i was in a schoool that actually offered orchestra) as for the computers on hsn, i have seen some Dell computers (i know dells not exactly the best, but they arent horrible either...i have one...lol that are pretty good for like a lot cheaper then it would be @ dell.com

dont even bother, i tried the cracked version once w/no-cd crack and it worked, but i couldnt join most of the servers. I could only join servers made by people who were also using cracked versions, and there were very few people who made cracked servers so im just sticking with Halo Trial

ah i see, thx for clearing up that whole port stuff oh and i live in cedar park (like...basically right by Austin(the capital of tx)) and as for ur tutorial, there wasnt anything really confusing about it. Its just that when you said change the port, I assumed that if i changed the port, i wont be able to download from ppl using the other ports. so basically, its just a messed up idea i got from assuming too much, but i guess you could always just say something like changing the port will not impair your ability to download from people using port 6881 or something like that so other people dont automatically assume that it will screw them over...like i did lol Well, i believe i will download BitTornado again...but first...i must finish my partial downloads on azureus...only ~20% to go thx again for the help

but thats the thing, i dont like bittornado because it opens them all in little windows, not all in one type of thing as for the ports, im a bit confused on that i read ur tutorial a few weeks ago, and then i thought that if i change the ports I am using, then i wont be able to download from people using 6881, and most people use 6881. Is this how it works or am i completely off? like if i have port 2497845 can i still download from someone using 6881?
