Link is dead.. What type of card was it?

The 6800 is nice.. I would be careful how much money you put into this system..
-
Yeah i would expect the XPS line to go with high 64s, x2 or fx processors..
-
I am sure that AMD would offer a simular plan to dell if they were to go with their processors.. It looks like dell would only go with the desktop and server platforms.. Their mobile is a wee bit lacking.. Who know maybe they will offer both!?
-
Found this interesting.. Dell dropped AMD for Intel a while back.. now they might be offering it again. Read more

They might release some day.. but they might want to get on to the x86 platform for a while before they release to the general public for release.. My guess is that someone will find a way to install a legal copy onto a generic pc at some point.

One of my friends just bought this from tigerdirect for 199... Nice monitor.. Never heard of them but from their website they are an oem company that sells to manufactures for rebrands.. So if you get like a dell, hp, compaq, .ect you might be getting a rebranded xgen.. Not sure who they sell.

It is possible to get Mac OS to run on an Intel based system.. http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Installation_Guides As far was developer can tell you are going to have to have some "Apple Advantage" chip that verifies that it is genuine apple.. Which means that you cant run out to bestbuy and grab a copy. However, hacker have been able to take the software end out of the developers edition to allow regular computer to run the new x86 version.

The extras.. most of the time the extras are a little bit different.. The only thing that I can see is that the Deluxe has 4 sata1 ports and an extra gigabyte lan connection

He is in new york state.. The IP is registered to VA.

I would agree.. 1,500 can buy a nice computer these days.. 4600 is just to much.. unless you are doing something that needs that type of computer.. such as video editing, photo editing, or you are a professional gamer.. otherwise 2,000 i think should be the max for a computer..

How do people get caught stealing music?
Swimmer replied to asubaseball727's topic in General Discussion
Hahaha yeah that would be my guess.. If it says RIAA then you would be screwed.. Unless it is a letter from the ISP about excessive bandwidth usage.. -
Problem is that the card needs to be AGP.. http://www.bfgtech.com/6600GT.html that would the 6600 i would recommend.. Since he already has a BFG i would stay with Nvidia.. I am not as familiar with ATI's new line.. I know that they do offer select cards in AGP version of their higher end. Is this the same friend that I helped pick this card out like in June?

There wasnt enough space to chart ms response to anything. It would have been somethink like 33 miles worth of paper to chart the quickest response.
-
I was looking through one of my old pc mags.. November issue of PC mag has this exact issue.. The fastest to respond to any virus threat is kaspersky followed by symantec and etrust-ino.. The source is av-test.org

if you are getting that type of speeds, wired, with those types of pings on those routers i am going to be suprised! I am willing to bet that it is road runner right now.. Looking at their network status.. Road Runner will be conducting Planned Maintenance on the IP network. Subscribers in the affected area(s) may have no connection to the Internet or latency/slow connectivity during this maintenance window. Our engineers are working quickly to complete this maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. from 1/09/06-1/11/06.. The entire new england area...

Agree but spend some money on decent hardware.. Atleast get a centrino based one so that the battery life is decent.. and make sure that you get one with a dedicated graphics.. otherwise you will kick yourself later..
