  5. I dont know what model phones you need but here is what I am finding out..http://gpswireless.blogspot.com/ You are going to need to have the data plan to upload the data to the network for private use.

    Hard Drive setup?

You are going to have to change the boot order in the bios so that it boots from the array first..
  8. if you might be able to do this over a router like this.. http://www.netgear.com/products/details/FVX538.php I know you can do this on a cisco where you can write the rules.. but that is a bit much for consumer..
  9. Damn dude that is really high! A boot for windows should be below 300mb with antivirus and firewall.
  10. It is out.. get it now.. if you are a thunderbird user..
  11. Those are nice.. the z5500s!! Almost bought a pair.. but then decided to stick with my z2200s for another year
  12. Firewalls... The basic idea is to restrict communication between trusted hosts and untrusted host. They can block ports, not respond to outside pings, and other functions. There are two types of firewalls: Hardware and software There is alot to these.. http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Firewalls-101.html that is a pretty good overview of what firewalls can do and why they are important. BTW Windows firewall doesnt count.. it only scans incomming traffic.. you want one that scans both.
  13. That is a nice keyboard.. I personally am looking to get a logitech G15 http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2166,CONTENTID=10717 However, now seeing the photoshop short cuts just appear.. i might want to look into this keyboard instead.. Wonder how much processor power this is going to take to run.
  14. is it a legal copy of office? did you register it?
  15. Try updating the drivers.. I notices on Netgear's site for the WG511.. they had Added support to save and switch profile between all user accounts (including non-administrator accounts) on Windows XP Home and Professional (including SP2) and Windows 2000 Professional in their latest build of there drivers. I dont think the WZC is a problem. I am able to plug in my card and have it run just fine. O question I have is.. When the "session", i am assuming that means that IE is closed?, ends does the ip address go to a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx? or is it still a valid 192.xxx.xxx.xxx?
  16. WMA that is funny.. can anyone say DRM? I try and stay as far away as possible..
  17. It is azureus.. it is java based so once you close the program java doesnt always go away like it should.. that could be eating memory by the boatload. The best thing would be to restart.. Also make sure that you restart and see if the speed returns before you power cycle everything..
  18. Does anyone know anything about geek squad, are they good? Dont use them.. they charge way to much money for what they do.. If you have a laptop try running this program..http://www.netstumbler.com/ It will give you all of the aps in that area.. You might want to consider moving your network to a different channel due to the speed issues.. On other thing that you might want to consider is turning on atleast MAC filtering. This way you have some control over your network.
  19. a few things to try.. 1) disable it from the hardware manager 2) check the setting for the drivers and make sure that the new card is set as the pimary display and not the intel crap 3) what model is your mobo.. some of the have jumpers that will disable the onboard video all together.
  20. Yeah FLAC is a good one.. lossless.. that is important in some apps.
