  1. Off topic, and I wont drag this out. I just watched Mission Impossible 3 on Blu Ray 1080p with 7.1 surround. The Onkyo would have been worth twice the price. AMAZING. As far as the DSL, I have no clue what your talking about, but as soon as I hit google I will. I got up in the middle of the movie and searched the whole house because I heard the back door open and shut. I couldnt figure it out... Onkyo. I rewound it 6 times (no shit ask my wife) every time I damn near got up. It is GREAT. As far as the picture, well Sony makes great tvs. :grin2:
  2. No tweaking yet. I am a loong way from the co. That is cool to know about the 2 week thing, never knew that. I have been setting up my surround sound, have had little time for anything else. It going good. The Onkyo kicks ass.
  3. I have this exact package and get about 4.6 on average down. Up sticks around 600. I like it.

  7. Basically you just need to figure out your motherboard configuration. Once you know the chipset you will know what processors you can add. As far as ram, figure out what type of slot you have for your current ram and that will be about all you need to know. I will go in a lil more depth later if I can. Im on the dumper right now...I love wireless.
  8. Your kickin my ass in the speed department bob. Glad you got it going.

  19. Is it a PPPoe modem? If so you may need to enter the modems setup and switch it to bridge mode. Then have your router do the PPPoe for you. If it is not then disregard this post.

  21. Also if you have not tried doing a repair of the connection try it. If you right click the connection that says limited or no connectivity a drop down box will appear. One of the options is "repair" this has worked for me in the past.
  22. Think of it this way, when a ISP states your expected speed they generally talk in Kbps. So if your upload is advertised at 512kbps then you are at about 70% of your advertised speed. Like Ryan said they are both the same speeds just different ways to measure, kinda like MPH and KPH.
