Yup, but like I said I'm no console hater. I would buy the 360 if on line went free and probably will anyway after a price drop or two. I will definitely get the Wii for my daughter and wife (me too) it looks fun as hell but I ain't paying 250 for it. Well unless the wife tells me I am. Too bad everywhere cant be like TestMy (the best place on earth) anywhere else you would have called my mother a whore by now.

Yea times about 5 years. $250 bucks without ANY downloads or microtransactions. Besides with Blu Ray kicking HD DVDs ass PS3 is the best bet for me. Not everyone, but me.

There is a video on youtube of this console booting up and playing using the HDMI. Also there is a new chip that is inside that replaces the ANA chip called HANA. If the article I read was right the current 360 can only output analog and will never be able to have a HDMI upgrade due to the need for the new HANA chip. MS just shit on alot of people. I think he is talking about wireless internet. You get a receiver at your house, sometimes an antenna that runs to a modem, and the ISP shoots the signal to your house over the air. It is usually quicker and about the same price as satellite. But of course that is if its available in your area. I know it is in mine its called Clear Wire. And there is no such thing as a dumb question, everyone learns everything they know at one point from some other source. :grin2:

Hello and welcome to the site Papa, glad to have you. Satelite of course is not the best but definitely beats dial up. My father in law has Hughes here in the states and seems pleased with it. All satelites will probably be about equally crappy for P2P. I'm not sure if you are wanting a recommendation on the router or just letting us know you have one. Everyone here seems to like Linksys or Dlink, usually one and not the other.

Yea better a fee than losing all my dvds or taking them to Hastings and getting back door raped. I am going to trade my ps2 in to Hastings though. They actually give me more in store credit than I can get cash even on ebay. The ps2 money is capping off my PS3 fund.... hopefully.

Alright I have about 140 DVDs in my collection. All new titles, all with the original case in superb condition and if they were sold with a sleeve they have that too also in superb condition. All the DVDs are in mint condition. I have box sets and regular DVDs. Open TCP and in the lower right hand corner you should be able to revert to your old settings by ticking a box hitting ok and rebooting. Hope this helps. Nope I lied sorry, open TCP and under file you can restore backup of your old settings. Then reboot.
