  11. Just did a Witikpedia search. Nice catch. Homer Simpson in Episode [1F02] Homer Goes To College. I have that season on DVD and was listening to the comentary for that episode. Dan Castellaneta messed up spelling smart during the recording process, but it was so funny they decided to put it into the episode.
  12. Looks weird? It basicly looks like IE. If I had no choice but to use IE, I'd switch to Linux or even... a Mac. You do know that you can customize the look and feel of Firefox?
  13. I was listening to the Cnet Buzz Out Loud Podcast. I guess Google has ONE (so far) Wi-fi access station in Union Square in San Franscisco. I've attacche the podcast. It's an MP3. Go to 3:35 Mins. to here about Google Wi-fi.
  14. A UPS? umm, no. Those only last a few hours if that. A generator, hardly. Remember, most of the affected area was under water. Nothing would have helped, except for a boat.
  15. User martin is #15000 http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=15000 In an announcer voice: Tell him what he's won, Bob.
  16. 11 more to go. Remember we go buy the user number. Example: http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=217 <-means user #217. It'll probably happen today.
  17. http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/hotelkey.asp Snopes.com says it isn't true, but it could happen. I didn't read the whol thing, but it seems most hotels have a serial number encoded on the key which acts as your "info". They also change the door combination every time a new guest stays there, so finding a key won't do any good.
  18. I PM'd that question yesterday. I don't really see anything wrong with this thread. Does anyone else?
  19. "Hold the spam, hold the virus', special fiber don't upset us. Let us serve it your way." FIOS from Burger King.

Not to mention, it's a dedicated line. They also probably promise near 100% uptime.
  21. Are you running any firewalls? Have you checked your modem's signal levels? http://192.168.100.1/signal.htm Downstream and upstream power levels and downstream Signal to Noise Ratio are what to look for.
  22. Meh... Sounds better than GIOS (guy-oh-s) though.
