I would go with the SB5100 because the SB5120 gives high pings, packet loss, and if you play on line games it gives you lag.

I also recommend the Scientific-Atlanta DPC2100 Series, it's an extremely good Cable Modem. I always get good speeds results with this modem. I would also recommend the Motorola Surfboard SB5100, I wouldn't recommend the SB5120. :::..
