yes, having a small amount of upload helps the download for some crazy reason.

Very soon (around the time RR users get their upgrade ) comcast will upgrade to the 4/386 for free, then 5/??? ( i forget the upload increase) for the extra $10.00 more. Or so iv heard. Lucky you guys get the option to upgrade youre upload speed.

Its by ip. My old comp, testing and the one im currently on now, come up as the same thing because of the shared IP. So all three comps will have the same "results" in the database, but maybe not the same test scores. And if this thread goes offroad it will be "killed" too So lets try to stay on topic this time.

The download could be better, especialy for your connection van! But damn you and your upload! *shakes fist*

Well i have to hand it to them, the sp2 firewall is mighty powerful. As you know, vanburen, I (used to before my last comp died yesterday ) ran that DC++ hub for me and the other 250 users , and when i upgraded to sp2 ( huge mistake) i couldnt for the LIFE of me figure out why noone could get to my hub! If i went thru my router ip i got in fine. But if i tried thru the no-ip addy, or thru my ip address, it was damn near impossible. I finaly found out it was the sp2 firewall but MAN! What a pain in the ass that was.
