Your right, it could be other things along the route.. but thats not the point. Their have been more and more users ( uneededly i might add) making threads about why its running so slowly. CA3LE is currently setting up the other server to fix this problem, but my comment about TM getting slow was based on 3 tests ran back to back , ( a lil earlier then my post) 3 x in a row. testmy showed me as using a " 1 mb connection" the second and 3rd time they didnt even finish. At the same time dslreports in houston, dallas and atlanta, were saying i was on a 5.8. ( which is about right. especialy during off hours)

blah i read it wrong lol . Actualy i thnk we both did.. I think he means use the harddrive with XP installed on it already for the new computer.. That im not sure of.

You may be able to rip just windows off the disk.. but if you try to install it straight out youll just corrupt everything. because the disk that came with your comp includes the installation of drivers and whatnot config'd to your old machine.

nah. like with earthlink/tw/comcast/atbbi/whatever ( same devision ) here in florida the only packages are the standard 8/768 or 5/386 , but in texas, their are packages avaliable like 15 / 1 . I saw it on dslreports. Each state / county can set their own rates accordingly.

Mabey not in his area? Different areas set their own rules. On my way to work the other day a few miles from my house i saw 2 adelphia trucks working on a side road leading to a wooded area. lol guess someones havin cable installed allllllll the wayback in the boonies. didnt know adelphia was out near me

Looks like the trojin was located on a system file. When the trojin was removed, so was the file. have you tried using a different browser?

well if your currently not getting these "10 12 mbit" that means you...are caped... lol which is why theirs seperate packages. Uncapped would me you have access to the networks backbone, which is impossible... and alot more then 6 and 7 mbit
